MDG decided to join the Association of Italian Videogame Software Publishers (www.aesvi.it) with the new program AESVI 4 DEVELOPERS dedicated to entarteinment software developers. The first meeting of the new group took place in Milan on February 10th with the accession of 12 italian developers.

MDG is now testing the beta version of “Monster Trouble” that is scheduled to be
released toward the end of February. This game represents a very original
implementation in full 3D video technology of a classic Tower Defense game. See the

MDG has signed an agreement with the Ukrainian Media Group for the animation of
more than twenty characters that make up the cast of “Monster Trouble”.

MDG has signed an agreement with the studio 93Steps for the production of the
original soundtrack and sound effects that will be used in its new videogame “Monster
Trouble”.

In order to implement the “Game Center” library, MDG decided to ask Flavio Bortot to
join the “Monster Trouble” development team as a project consultant. Flavio comes from
a long experience in the videogame industry in Italy and in the USA where he worked as
a Videogame Engineer for Activision.

MDG is proud to annouce the acquisition of a new team member, Francesco Mattioli,
that will be in charge of Marketing & Communication. Francesco comes from a long
experience as a “C” programmer and is fresh of a degree in Managing Engineering from
the university of Bologna.

MDG has decided to start working on a new videogame project specifically dedicated to
the iPad Appleʼs tablet. Unlike the games so fare realized, this new game belong to the
Strategy games category and in particular to the Tower Devense. The ispiration for this
videogame comes from Marco Di Timoteo who brings in MDG a long experience in the
design of strategy games.

MDG is proud to announce the acquisition of a new team member, Marco Di Timoteo,
that will be responsable for the position of Game Design Manager. Marco comes from a
long experience in the game design industry where he has been working on Mods,
Browser games and various indies projects with Studio Evil.

After completing the porting of its Videogame Engine for the iOS platform, MDG decided
to focus its game design resources in the creation of a new concept specifically
dedicated to the iOS platform. The porting of its flight simulator Ikaro for the iPad has
been postponed until new solutions will be found for the flight control system since the
iPad lack of keybord and joistick presents a serious limitition for this kind of games.

MDG has decided to start the porting of its Videogame Engine (URGH) to the iOS
platform with the scope of creating new, high quality videogames for the Appleʼs tablet
(iPAd). We beleive that the Appleʼs tablet will have a tremendus impact in the

Ikaro has been made available for digital downloading one week ago on the portal Direct2Drive of IGN and only during the last week-end more than 5000 installation were performed wordwide. According to our publisher, The Games Comapny Worldwide the distribution of Ikaro on the reatil market will stat today in the german language countries.

The university of Verona announced a new Master in Computer Games Development aimed at the creation of tomorrw’s Video Games Programers. MDG was invited at the presentation of the Master and made a short lecture focusing on the Video Game Engine “Urgh” and showing a preliminary trailer of the Video Game Ikaro.
